Ørsted appoints Rasmus Errboe deputy CEO

Ørsted has made updates to its executive management structure.

FREDERICIA, Denmark — As part of a new management structure, Ørsted has established a new commercial organization under Rasmus Errboe, who has been appointed deputy CEO and chief commercial officer (CCO).

Due to his new role, Errboe will be part of the registered management of Ørsted A/S. Errboe is currently interim CFO and was previously CEO of Region Europe at Ørsted.

Ørsted will keep its organizational setup with three regions (Region Europe, Region Americas and Region APAC) following the continued commercial and geographical focus of the company. Going forward, the regional CEOs, the head of global stakeholder relations, and the head of strategy, portfolio, innovation and digital will report to the new commercial organization under Errboe.

Ørsted’s group executive team, effective April 1, will include

  • Mads Nipper, group president and CEO;
  • Rasmus Errboe, deputy CEO and CCO;
  • Trond Westlie, executive vice president (EVP) and CFO;
  • Patrick Harnett, EVP and COO; and
  • Henriette Fenger Ellekrog, EVP and chief HR officer.
