MEUDON, France — Vallourec has signed a two-year extension to a contract signed in 2019 to provide ADNOC with tubes and connections for offshore and onshore oil and gas fields in Abu Dhabi.
The extension takes effect in January 2025 and will run through January 2027.
In addition, the supply scope has been expanded to include new services, such as local pipe coating, and Vallourec’s digital solutions such as Tallyvision. This is said to streamline installation operations by providing full traceability for each tube.
Vallourec’s local yard in the UAE also has a 100% digital management system, the company said.
In addition, the amended terms call for the supply of 27,000 metric tons that will be manufactured in Vallourec plants in France, Brazil, China and Indonesia, starting from the end of this year.
