SHENZEN CITY, China – QYSEA Technology has introduced what it describes as “groundbreaking in-house developed underwater AI technology” for its series of underwater robots – the AI Diver Tracking Function.
The feature is said to leverage QYSEA’s proprietary AI underwater image filtering algorithm and visual recognition technology. Identifying a diver’s movements, it conducts real-time automatic analysis to achieve precise underwater visual tracking and monitoring. The company says that this is the world’s first technology that applies AI for underwater robot diver tracking, serving as a crucial safety measure.
QYSEA says that traditional underwater robot and diver collaborative systems often face challenges and complexities, requiring frequent manual operations. In contrast, its new AI Diver Tracking Function is said to simplify control through intelligent algorithms, enabling real-time tracking and enhancing operational efficiency.
The company says that its AI Diver Tracking Function can be used in several offshore markets, including subsea engineering, ecological conservation, and emergency rescue.
