ALLEROD, Denmark —ADIPEC exhibitor Welltec is showcasing its new Welltec Expandable Anchor (WEA), which has the capacity to deliver four different applications. The company said this technology is designed to bring greater reliability, flexibility and efficiency to the well construction process.
The Welltec booth provides ADIPEC attendees with an interactive 360-degree experience. The world’s largest WEA is displayed at the booth, and visitors are able to step into a 5-m-high immersive experience room with a technical explanation of the four-in-one completion technology.
“The WEA solution is a machined sleeve, which uses a surface-controlled hydraulic expansion process utilized within well construction and completion. The technology has proven reliability for installation and long-term solution capability,” said Paul Hazel, Welltec’s global solutions director for well completions.
Welltec's booth also offers an interactive trivia game where contestants can compete against one another in a quickfire true/false quiz, in addition to an interactive Tech Table with video introductions and overviews of all Welltec products and services.
