Interocean will start deploying ROV inspection services to support Below Water Balance of Plant operations.

Vattenfall has extended Interocean Marine Services’ UK North Sea offshore wind farm frame agreement by a further four years.

Under the arrangement, Interocean will start deploying ROV inspection services to support Below Water Balance of Plant (BOP) operations at the Thanet, Kentish Flats, and Kentish Flats Extension wind farms offshore south-east England.

The company already provides support for the Aberdeen and Ormonde offshore wind farms.

Interocean claims to be one of the first inspection service providers to obtain ABS and DNV approvals for ultrasonic thickness measurements through use of UAVs and other remotely controlled techniques.
