ABERDEEN, UK -- Subsea 7 and CRC-Evans have entered into a global technology partnership agreement to provide pipeline fabrication services to the subsea engineering and construction market.
Under the agreement CRC-Evans will install automatic welding, coating, and testing technologies at Subsea 7 pipeline fabrication spoolbases in Angola, Brazil, Norway, and the UK. CRC-Evans also will work with J-Lay, Subsea 7’s Houston-based team, to develop and enhance the J-Lay and double jointing capability that Subsea 7 has on its flex-lay pipelay vessel the Seven Seas.
Subsea 7 is a subsea engineering and construction company. CRC-Evans designs and provides offshore and onshore pipeline construction equipment, automatic welding technology, pipeline joint coating application, and pipeline fabrication spoolbase management.
