STAVANGER -- Statoil has contracted Aibel for modifications to its Gullfaks and Visund production facilities in the Norwegian North Sea.
The contract scope includes execution of studies, participation in problem analysis, and engineering, planning, purchasing, fabrication, installation, and mechanical completion services.
Around 80 Aibel employees will work on the one-year program, which will be managed from the company’s office in Bergen.
