Eni agrees trade in Irish licenses

DUBLIN-- Eni has farmed into the Dunquin frontier exploration license 3/04, comprising five blocks in the Porcupine basin offshore western Ireland. The company will assume a 40% interest, with operator ExxonMobil holding a similar percentage, and Providence Resources and Sosina respectively retaining 16% and 4%.

The three existing partners have also agreed to take a cumulative 40% interest in the adjacent Eni-operated frontier license FEL 1/99, which covers six offshore blocks over a total area of 1,500 sq km (579 sq mi).
