PODGORICA, Montenegro – The Ministry of Economy of Montenegro has invited bids for the country’s first offshore licensing round.
The First Tender of Award of the Hydrocarbons Production Concession Contract in Montenegro offshore covers 13 blocks over anunexplored area of 3,191 sq km (1,232 sq mi). Applications must be received by Feb. 28, 2014.
Companies that visited the associated oil and gas data room since 2011 include Anadarko, Eni, ExxonMobil, Hess, Marathon, Statoil, Total, Wintershall, and Woodside Energy.
