Peterson to meet Maersk North Sea logistics needs

Maersk Oil has awarded logistics group Peterson a five-year contract to support the operator’s UK North Sea assets.

ABERDEEN, UKMaersk Oil has awarded logistics group Peterson a five-year contract to support the operator’s UK North Sea assets.

Services will include warehousing, inventory control, transport, fuel and quayside logistics, crew changes and walk-to-work facilities.

Peterson already provides fourth-party logistics support to Maersk in thePersian Gulf.

Both companies will continue to develop solutions using Peterson’s proprietary suite of digital applications such as eCargo and VOR, designed to allow real time, data-driven decisions to improve performance.
