Cadeler, Eneti unite offshore wind capabilities

Cadeler and Eneti have combined operations to form an enlarged offshore wind installation contractor, listed on the New York and Oslo Stock Exchanges.

COPENHAGEN, DenmarkCadeler and Eneti combined operations Dec. 23 to form an enlarged offshore wind installation contractor, which is now listed on the New York and Oslo stock exchanges.

The combined group, to be named Cadeler, is based in Copenhagen, with offices elsewhere in Denmark, the UK, US, Taiwan and Japan.

It will be able to take on complex next-generation offshore wind installation projects.

Current Cadeler CEO Mikkel Gleerup will remain in his position, with Andreas Sohmen-Pao as chairman and Eneti CEO Emanuele Lauro likely to be nominated as vice chairman.

Cadeler and Eneti initially entered into an agreement to merge in June 2023.
