Offshore staff
GRAY, Louisiana– Shell Exploration and Production Co. has contracted Danos to provide coatings for the Appomattox platform in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
The coatings project is expected to last about six months.
The company also fabricated three boarding valve skids and one service line skid out of its Amelia facility for Appomattox, which required support from its project management, fabrication, coatings, and automation service lines.
Appomattox is 80 mi (129 km) offshore Louisiana, in approximately 7,200 ft (2,195 m) of water.
