Rosenberg WorleyParsons to adapt North Sea Gjøa topsides for Nova

Neptune Energy has contracted Rosenberg WorleyParsons to build and install a topsides module on the Gjøa semisubmersible platform for Wintershall’s Nova subsea tieback.

STAVANGER, Norway – Neptune Energy, on behalf of the partners in the Gjøa license in the Norwegian North Sea, has contracted Rosenberg WorleyParsons to build and install a topsides module on the Gjøa semisubmersible platform for Wintershall’s Nova subsea tieback.
Wintershall is developing Nova with two subsea modules tied back to the Gjøa platform for processing and export.
The platform modification project will last until 2021, with around 300 people involved at peak in engineering and construction.
This is a continuation of the front-end engineering and design phase already conducted byRosenberg WorleyParsons.
