COPENHAGEN, Denmark — The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has published revised draft tender documents for expansion of offshore wind development in Denmark’s waters by a minimum of 6 GW by the end of 2030.

It expects to issue a tender during the spring. Certain parts of the material are also relevant to the tender of the offshore energy island Energiø Bornholm.

The DEA launched a market dialogue last June. It now wants to present the revised material and give interested parties time to assess the findings before the final publication of the tenders.

The changes are within the framework of the political accord of May 30, 2023, including agreements on the timetables for construction of the wind parks.
