LONDON – Vattenfall has signed an agreement under which Hellenic Cables will provide 850 km of aluminum inter-array cables.
These will link wind turbines in the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone in the UK southern North Sea with the offshore substation.
Hellenic subsidiary Fulgor operates the submarine cables manufacturing center in Corinth, Greece, producing and testing of some of the longest submarine cable lengths without factory joints worldwide, Vattenfall said.
