INVERNESS, UK — Global Energy Group (GEG) has fabricated structures for Aker BP’s Valhall PWP - Fenris Field project in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
The package, commissioned by Subsea7, comprises two 66-t towheads, both 15 m long and 6 m wide, and equipment/buoyancy tank interface frames.
GEG manufactured the towheads at Port of Nigg’s 17,000-sq-m fabrication site, followed by final painting and coatings.
