ABERDEEN, UK– Stena Drilling has secured a contract from Timor Sea Oil & Gas Australia Pty Ltd., a subsidiary of Northern Oil & Gas Australia Pty Ltd. for the semisubmersible Stena Clyde.
The campaign is expected so start around April/May and last for about 30 days.
The semisub has been warm stacked in Darwin, Australia.
In addition, following a competitive tender exercise, Stena has signed a contract with Nexen Petroleum U.K. Ltd. for the semisubStena Spey.
The drilling campaign is estimated to take 110 days with a potential additional option well on theGolden Eagle field in the UK central North Sea. It will commence on completion of the current well with Repsol-Sinopec.
