FORNEBU, Norway – Aker Solutions has won contracts to provide umbilicals for three Statoil-operated projects offshore Norway.
The company will manufacture more than 40 km (25 mi) of umbilicals at its factory in Moss, Norway, for theJohan Sverdrup and Utgard developments in the North Sea and the Bauge-Njord tieback in the Norwegian Sea.
Luis Araujo, Aker Solutions’ CEO, said: “By combining the delivery for three separate projects into one order, we are able to boost efficiency and reduce costs for the customer.”
