THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Anadarko plans to allocate more than $150 million to its operations in Ghana and Algeria next year.
The investmentsoffshore Ghana will support further drilling in the TEN field development area, expected to start in early 2018, and additional drilling at the Jubilee field following the Ghanaian government’s recent approval of the full-field development plan.
Anadarko has budgeted $200 million next year, primarily focused on theGulf of Mexico, where it plans to drill identified prospects near existing operated infrastructure.
It also anticipates an outlay of around $150 million as it advances theMozambique LNG project, mainly to fund its share of costs for preparing the onshore site of the future LNG park receiving gas from it deepwater fields.
