HAMILTON, Bermuda – Teekay Offshore Partners’ Randgrid FSO, converted from a shuttle tanker at Sembcorp’s Sembawang shipyard in Singapore, has started its charter contract with Statoil on the Gina Krog oil and gas field in the Norwegian North Sea.
This is Teekay’s largest FSO project to date, said the company’s President and CEO Ingvild Sæther.
“TheRandgrid FSO further builds on our strategic partnership with Statoil and is expected to contribute annual cash flow from vessel operations of approximately $60 million during the firm period of the charter contract.”
