BANGKOK, Thailand – Mermaid Maritime’s Middle East business division has won a long-term offshore cable survey contract in the Middle East, valued at around $7 million.
The program, due to start soon, will involve deployment of a Mermaid chartered-in vessel with geophysical survey personnel, equipment, and a survey class ROV onboard, surveying a subsea cable network for an NOC in the Middle East GCC region.
The duration is around 21 months with an option for further cable inspection work at additional rates.
