ABERDEEN, UK – Bibby Offshore has completed two offshore inspection jobs for separate operators in the UK North Sea.
Perenco contracted the company for subsea integrity inspections and maintenance activities on the Inde Joint pipeline in the southern North Sea, which runs to the Bacton gas terminal on the Norfolk coast.
Bibby installed 94 concrete mattresses over the pipeline to assist in preserving the remaining rock dump mounds, completing the 15-day program in early July.
The second job, completed in late July, involved subsea tree inspections for Endeavour Energy UK at theRenee and Rubie fields in blocks 15/27 and 15/28 in the central UK sector.
In both cases Bibby deployed its inspection, repair and maintenance vesselOlympic Bibby.
