HOUSTON – Noble Energy’s 2Q production from its fields offshore Israel averaged 275 MMcf/d, up slightly on the figure for 1Q.
The company continues to progress the deepwaterLeviathan project within budget and toward first gas by the end of 2019. Drilling of the latest production well concluded in July.
Noble’s proved reserves associated with the first phase of development are 550 MMboe net, adding more than 35% to its total reserves at the end of 2016.
In theGulf of Mexico, the United States Coast Guard has granted what Noble claims is the first facility life extension for a spar in the sector, for the company’s facility, hosting production for the Swordfish field.
Overall this year, the company anticipates capex toward the upper end of its previous $2.3-$2.6 billion guidance range, due in part to accelerated spending on Leviathan.
