Erin Energy preparing tenders for offshore Ghana 3D seismic survey

HOUSTON – Erin Energy continues to perform geotechnical subsurface studies of existing 3D seismic data in order to high-grade its prospect inventory on the expanded Shallow Water Tano block offshore Ghana.

In addition, the company plans a new 3D marine seismic acquisition survey, and will issue a formal invitation to tender to marine seismic vendors later this year.

It aims to start field operations after the resolution of the Ghana-Côte d’Ivoire maritime border dispute arbitration.

ThedrillshipPacific Bora should spud the Oyo-9 well on the Oyo field offshore Nigeria soon. Erin expects the well to lift output from the field by 6,000-7,000 b/d.
