Offshore staff
LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands – Seabed Geosolutions, a joint venture between Fugro and CGG, has a contract to perform a 3D ocean bottom node (OBN) survey for Petrobras in the Santos basin offshore Brazil.
This will cover an area of more than 1,600 sq km (618 sq mi), the largest for any OBN survey to date, the company claimed, and involves deployment of the Manta node system.
Work on the seven-month contract, valued at around $90 million, should start late this year or in early 2018.
