SELANGOR DARUL EHSAN, Malaysia – Barakah Offshore Petroleum subsidiary PBJV Group has a letter of award from Samling Resources.
This calls for provision of a well intervention vessel, platform supply vessel and associated services for temporary P&A of 15 wells at the declining Chinguetti and Banda fieldsoffshore Mauritania.
Chinguetti is in deepwater, 80 km (50 mi) west of the coastline and 90 km (56 mi) from the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott.
Work is due to start soon.
