SINGAPORE – KrisEnergy has updated developments at its producing fields in the Gulf of Thailand.
Production from theWassana oil field in the G10/48 concession averaged 5,063 b/d during 1Q and remains constrained following mechanical issues in five wells.
The company will seek to improve production at existing wells and is preparing a new infill drilling campaign (up to five wells) later this year.
At theNong Yao field in the G11/48 concession, output was slightly down, averaging 8,332 b/d.
The Nong Yao-B wellhead platform was shut in briefly last month for positioning of the jackupAtwood Orca in preparation for infill drilling of up to four wells.
Three new wells have been drilled at the B8/32 and B9A oil and gas complex. The Thai authorities have approved the extension of the B8/32 production period to 2030, and also sanctioned a second relinquishment of G11/48, reducing the license area to 991.68 sq km (383 sq mi).
