NEW YORK – Hess expects production to start this summer from the North Malay Basin full-field development offshore Malaysia.
During 1Q, the topsides were installed on the central processing platform, where commissioning is now under way.
The 14th and final well of the Phase I development drilling campaign was completed, and the floating, storage, and offloading vessel should be transported to the field during the current quarter.
Offshore Guyana, Hess is a partner in the deepwater Stabroek block, where drilling has started on the Liza-4 appraisal well.
