LEIDEN, the Netherlands – ConocoPhillips Skandinavia intends to enter into a decommissioning contract with Heerema Marine Contractors and partner AF Gruppen.
This concerns the removal and disposal of four redundant platforms connected to theEkofisk field in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
The contract includes engineering, preparation, removal, and disposal services for the platforms, with a total weight of around 36,000 metric tons (39,683 tons).
They will be removed and disposed of from 2017-2022.
