HOUSTON – BP has awarded Wood Group a global agreement for the provision of conceptual engineering services, pre-front-end engineering design (pre-FEED), and FEED engineering services.
The agreement has a contractual duration of three years with an option to extend for two additional years.
The company will provide engineering services for both BP’s onshore and offshore facilities.
Last year, BP awarded Wood Group a five-year, $500-million engineering, procurement, and construction management services contract for work inAzerbaijan. In 2015, BP contracted with Wood Group for engineering services related to BP’s existing subsea infrastructure in the Gulf of Mexico, UK and Norwegian continental shelves, and offshore Azerbaijan.
