EM&I scoops up inspection work in the Gulf of Mexico

CHESHIRE, UK – Pacific Drilling has awarded EM&I another contract for an underwater inspection in lieu of drydocking (UWILD), using the company’s ODIN service.

It will start with an ROV survey on thePacific Sharav, a DNV GL-classed ultra-deepwater drillship operating for Chevron in the Gulf of Mexico.

EM&I said it was Pacific Drilling’s seventh ODIN project in various parts of the globe. It also noted that the schedule was tight and has to fit in with a four-day well maintenance program.
