LONDON – Two infill development wells on the Te Giac Trang field offshore southern Vietnam have reached total depth, according to partner SOCO.
The TGT-27P well was drilled to a total MD of 3,965 m (13,008 ft), while TGT-28P was drilled to a total MD of 4,410 m (14,468 ft).
Both encountered hydrocarbons throughout both the Miocene and Oligocene reservoir horizons. Evaluation of the initial perforation strategy is under way.
A liner will be re-run on TGT-27P following the successful cementing of the liner on the TGT-28P well.
