LONDON – Eni and the Rabat Deep partnership will likely drill the 768-MMbbl offshore JP-1 prospect in early 2018, according to Chariot Oil & Gas.

Here JP-2 and other structures in the shallower Lower Cretaceous play could hold combined resources of 1 Bbbl.
Chariot will acquire 3D seismic early next year to investigate the extension of the Lower Cretaceous play into a region with no current seismic coverage.
