    Stena Drilling has selected Semco Maritime’s facilities at Hanøytangen to warm stack the semisubmersible drilling rig Stena Don.

    BERGEN, Norway– Stena Drilling has selected Semco Maritime’s facilities at Hanøytangen to warm stack the semisubmersible drilling rig Stena Don.

    The rig arrived at the yard on Nov. 16. It had been on contract toStatoil at the Troll field in the Norwegian North Sea.

    Built in 2001, theStena Don is a harsh environment Class 3 semisubmersible drilling, completion, and workover rig for worldwide operations. It has recently been upgraded with a modern equipment package.
