Atlantic response vessel to undergo modifications

Atlantic Offshore and Statoil have opted to convert Ocean Response to serve as an oil recovery and oil spill vessel.

ÅGOTSNES, NorwayAtlantic Offshore and Statoil have opted to convert Ocean Response to serve as an oil recovery and oil spill vessel, compliant with NOFO 2009 regulations.

It will then have more flexibility to undertake emergency and response measures, Atlantic said.

The modification will be performed at Hellesøy Verft in Norway.
