Offshore staff
TRONDHEIM, Norway – Aker BP ASA, formerly BP Norge and Det norske oljeselskap, has acquired interests in eight Norwegian licenses from Tullow Norge, subject to regulatory approval.
These include a 15% stake in the 43-MMboeOda (ex-Butch) discovery in PL 405, likely to be developed through the Ula field facilities.
The transaction strengthens Aker BP’s position in core areas around Ula, north of Alvheim,Skarv, and the Krafla/Askja areas.
