OSLO, Norway – Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway has sanctioned Det norske oljeselskap’s planned well in offshore production license 442.
The company recently assumed operatorship of the permit fromCentrica.
The jackupMaersk Interceptor will drill well 25/2-18S on the Langfjellet structure, 134 km (83 mi) west of Austevoll in Hordaland County, in a water depth of 122 m (400 ft).
Drilling could last up to 80 days if a discovery follows.
