First Wheatstone LNG train set for mid-2017 start-up

PERTH, Australia – Woodside Energy has issued brief updates on its development programs offshore Western Australia.

At theWheatstone project (Woodside 13%), construction and commissioning are progressing with LNG production through Train 1 anticipated in mid-2017, followed by first LNG from Train 2 six to eight months later.

TheJulimar project is on schedule for start-up later this year, with costs likely to be below the forecast figure at acquisition.

Finally, the NWS Project plateau extension work is advancing, with thePersephone project on budget and due to start-up earlier than expected in 2H 2017. The Greater Western Flank Phase 2 project remains on track for start-up in 2H 2019.
