RIO DE JANEIRO– In June, Petrobras achieved a new record for oil and gas production of 2.90 MMboe/d, beating its previous record of 2.88 MMboe/d established last August.
Of the total, 2.70 MMboe/d came from fields in Brazil.
The 2.20 MMb/d of oil the company produced in Brazil also represents its third highest average monthly output to date.
Growth was mainly due to the start-up of new wells connected to the FPSOsCidade de Maricá and Cidade de Itaguaíserving the Lula field in the Lula Alto and Iracema areas, respectively.
