OGA works with industry to publish Decommissioning Strategy

Britain’s Oil and Gas Authority has published its Decommissioning Strategy, which it says is the first of a number of strategies to “drive the direction of a new way of working across the oil and gas lifecycle.”

LONDON – Britain’s Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) has published its Decommissioning Strategy, which it says is the first of a number of strategies to “drive the direction of a new way of working across the oil and gas lifecycle.”
To develop the strategy, OGA collaborated with industry and the MER UK boards in support of the MER UK Strategy and OGA Corporate Plan.
Each strategy will be followed by an accompanying delivery program, providing further direction and detail on the implementation of the strategy.
