Ithaca targets late-month load-out for North Sea floater
July 11, 2016
Modifications are virtually complete to the semisubmersible platform FPF-1 for Ithaca Energy’s Greater Stella Area development in the UK central North Sea.
The vessel is expected to be ready to leave the yard in Gdansk, Poland, later this month following the two weeks of work required for the vessel inclination test and loading of supplies for the transit from the yard.
Ithaca estimates the period from sail-away to first hydrocarbons at around three months.
Elsewhere in the UK sector, Ithaca is a partner in the Shell-operatedPierce field. Here work has been completed on a subsea gas injection flowline and the field is now back on unrestricted production rates.
