HOUSTON – Wood Group Mustang has won a contract to provide detailed engineering and design and procurement services for the Statoil-operated Peregrino field wellhead platform C offshore Brazil.
The contractor will undertake the work for fabricatorKiewit Offshore Services, having completed front-end engineering and design for wellhead platform C last year and previously designed the Peregrino wellhead platforms A and B.
Michele McNichol, CEO of Wood Group Mustang, said the company’s track record of delivering cost-effective and efficient solutions was a major factor in the contract award.
RecentlyWood Group signed a master services agreement to support the lifecycles of Statoil’s onshore and offshore facilities, and Mustang is currently delivering maintenance and modification services to four Statoil installations offshore Norway.
Wood Group PSN is also supporting thePeregrino project, providing operations, maintenance, and modification services for the existing wellhead platforms, and modification services for the FPSO.
