LAS PALMAS, Spain – Wärtsilä is participating in a new maintenance hub in the Canary Islands operated by Spanish shipbuilding and ship repair group Zamakona Yards.
The Finnish company will offer maintenance and repair services for marine and power plant operators with a special focus on the offshore market, in cooperation with CCB Zamakona Offshore S.L. and Zamakona Shipyardmakona Yards.
The new custom-built service center is targeting operators with exploration, production and development operations in Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
Wärtsilä’s and Zamakona plan to offer an integrated focused on full vessel overhaul capabilities in one location.
