ABERDEEN, UK – Lundin Norway has awarded Xodus Group a four-year framework agreement to provide engineering studies and verification services for field developments offshore Norway.
Xodus will be involved in concept screening, feasibility studies, concept selection and pre-engineering; subsea and facilities studies, including modifications; and debottlenecking and process optimization studies.
The contractor will work with Kvaerner,EMAS Chiyoda Subsea, and Kanfa as partners and subcontractors.
One of the main areas to be addressed is challenges related to Lundin’s discoveries inarctic and sub-arctic areas of northern Norway.
Xodus already has a call-off order based on the new agreement for a feasibility study for one of Lundin’s developments in the Barents Sea.
