ABERDEEN, UK – Dassault Systèmes has joined the Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF).
The company is a specialist in 3D design software, 3D digital mock up and product lifecycle management solutions, and recently formed acollaboration with Bureau Veritas for the oil and gas and shipping sectors.
According to ITF, Dassault sees opportunities for transferring its solutions from the aerospace and automotive industries to help the oil and gas sector transform its cost base and supply chain, and also to support sustainable growth.
James Rosenshine, industry executive for Oil & Gas at Dassault, said: “We see a significant opportunity through our membership with ITF in contributing towards the oil and gas industry’s bid to tackle efficiency problems that are hampering productivity.
