RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras’ global oil and natural gas production in April averaged 2.69 MMboe/d, of which 2.50 MMboe/d were produced in Brazil.
Oil production was 5% above the volume delivered March, mainly due to platforms re-entering service following maintenance, notablyP-31 on the Albacora field and P-48 on the Caratinga field.
Presalt oil and gas output operated by Petrobras was nearly 10% lower at 994,000 boe/d, compared with the previous month, largely due to the scheduled shutdown of the FPSOs Cidade de Angra dos Reis and Cidade de Paraty.
