LONDONChariot Oil & Gas, a West Africa/Brazil-focused independent, plans to reduce its head office staff by around one-third, in response to market conditions.

As part of the overhaul, technical executive director David Bodecott has agreed to step down from the board, but will continue to work with the company on a consultancy basis, focusing on portfolio de-risking and other technical aspects of the company’s exploration program.

Chariot stresses that it remains fully funded to satisfy its current work commitments.
