HOUSTON – PEMEX has asked McDermott International to suspend construction work for the offshore Ayatsil development for 120 days to allow for assessment of the field infrastructure sequencing needs.
In March, McDermott completed its duties for Mexico’sPB Litoral project which subsequently delivered first gas and introduction of crude oil.
Offshore Malaysia, Hess has awarded McDermott a transportation and installation contract for the Begarding project. The program includes installation of a large processing facility jacket and a wellhead platform jacket and topsides.
TheDerrick Barge 30 will likely be deployed for the campaign which is due to start in the current quarter.
AtINPEX’s Ichthys project off northwest Australia, the Construction Support Vessel 108 has been engaged in pipeline pre-commissioning and stabilization work. Most of the fabrication activities at the Batam yard in Indonesia have been completed.
