Offshore staff
HONG KONG – CNOOC has started production from the Panyu 11-5 oil field in the South China Sea.
The location is in the Pearl River Mouth basin in an average water depth of around 110 m (361 ft).
Development involves use of existing facilities at thePanyu 5-1 oil field and drilling of three horizontal wells.
Currently one well is online, flowing around 3,270 b/d. The field is expected to deliver peak output of 3,900 b/d later this year.
