TRONDHEIM, Norway -- Det norske oljeselskap has agreed to acquire Centrica Resources’ stakes in three licenses covering the Frigg Gamma Delta and Rind discoveries offshore Norway.
The transaction comprises 30% of PL 442, PL 026B and PL 026, and includes operatorship of Frigg Gamma Delta.
Det norske also has authorization from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill an appraisal well on theIvar Aasen field in the central Norwegian North Sea.
The jackup Maersk Interceptor will drill well 16/1-26 A in PL 001 B.
